Quick Start Guide

Getting started with Brainy is simple:

1. Create Your First File

  • Open the app and locate the Sidebar on the left
  • Click the three dots menu and select New File
  • Give your file a descriptive name and press Enter

2. Add Study Cards

  • Click on your new file to open the Editor
  • Click Add Cell to create a new study block
  • Select Flash Card as the cell type
  • Enter your question and answer
  • Click outside the cell to save it

3. Start Reviewing

  • Click the Study button in the top bar of the editor
  • The Reviewer will open showing your cards
  • For each card, try to recall the answer before revealing it
  • Rate how difficult it was using the feedback buttons
  • Brainy will automatically schedule the next review based on your performance
